Holy Priest guide

Healer · our guide of 13 Oct 2026 Recommendation

Talent trees, every tier list's rating and the sim: the Holy tab.

In short

  • A healer for dungeons and raids.
  • No sim result: the sim engine has no healing spells.
  • Your crits protect the tank: Inspiration gives the target more armor for 15 sec after one of your direct heals crits, and Holy Specialization raises your Holy crit chance. Sourced: Talent database
  • Weak spot while leveling: wands no longer gain from spell damage since 24 Sep, so wand-leveling is slower. Sourced: Dev notes · 24 Sep

How it plays

Up to level 30. Renew on the tank, Heal as the efficient filler, Flash Heal for sudden damage, and Power Word: Shield in emergencies; Prayer of Healing when the whole group is hurt. Renew can crit since 24 Sep. Improved Renew and Holy Specialization come first, then Divine Fury for shorter Heal casts, Inspiration, Improved Healing and Binding Heal, which heals a friend and you at once. Spirit of Redemption is your 21st point.

At level 60. Theory Prayer of Mending on cooldown: it heals the next time its target is hurt, then jumps to another group member, up to 5 times. It needs Spirit of Redemption, which keeps you healing for 15 sec after you die. Greater Heal or a lower rank of Heal on the tank, Flash Heal for spikes, Binding Heal, and Prayer of Healing and Holy Nova for the group.
